LUMINAID is convinced that automated vertical growing systems for large-scale urban farms will achieve a large market size in the short term. The LUMINAID research team is working hard with a number of partners on the optimal lighting solutions for such applications. For example, we are working hard on the so-called FLORAPXL.LT concept with which we offer a lighting solution for closed crops with unprecedented uniformity, efficiency and light distribution. The system is currently being tested in various test setups and will soon be available to manufacturers of closed culture systems.
