Pakring Pathé Ypenburg

This hypermodern cinema in the Ypenburg district in The Hague has eight large screens that are fully equipped with 1,442 comfortable Relax Seats: electrically adjustable seats that can be put in a desired position by the users. The latest technology, such as 4K RGB laser projection, has been used for image and sound. All these visitors wish to be able to travel comfortably to and from this entertainment centre. That is why the associated parking garage is equipped with almost one and a half kilometres of high-quality DATALUX line lighting from Luminaid. This creates a safe and comfortable situation that is also very sustainable. This lighting was realized by Hoppenbrouwers Techniek. In addition to supplying the lighting, Luminaid also provided engineering and installation.

Parking Roosevelt Antwerp

Parking Roosevelt of Interparking is located right in the centre of Antwerp. This modern car park is fully equipped and enables visitors to the centre of Antwerp to leave their car safely and comfortably. The car park is ideally located below the Rooseveltplaats with the traffic junction of the Lijn, the UGC cinemas, the De Keyserlei, the Opera, Queen Elisabeth Hall, the Central station, the Zoo and the Diamond District.

Together with technology partner VMA, LUMINAID provided the lighting for this car park, including the installation of the light lines.

Munthof Amsterdam city center

Challenge

Right in the center of Amsterdam we find the former public parking garage Munthof. In 2018, the building was partly converted into a sustainable office building according to the guidelines of BREEAM Excellent. This meant that the lighting in the associated renewed parking garage had to meet the strictest sustainability requirements.

Solution

With DATALUX.LT, installer Lomans has found a lighting system with an industrial appearance that also easily meets the strict sustainability requirements. The new parking garage is equipped with DATALUX.LT light lines above the carriageways, creating a calm and even light image. For visitors this gives a pleasant and safe feeling.

Wila parking Lochem (NL)

Challenge

For over 85 years, WILA has been developing and producing high-end press brake systems and tools for press builders and users. Wila’s goal is the continuous development and production of these tools that increase the productivity and quality of the bending process. The leading position of WILA in the international plate processing industry is firmly founded on the 5 WILA values: Accurate – Durable – Flexible – Fast – Safe. Wila needed parking spaces close to the workplace for her own staff. MAAS architects from Lochem has delivered a beautiful design for this, which has been realized by VDR Bouwgroep and Mulder Installatietechniek.

Solution

For the architect, aesthetics and sustainability were the main challenges of this project. Important was low electricity consumption through the use of minimal lighting (less than the norm because it is not a public garage). That is why DATAUX was quickly chosen: this made it possible to stick to the minimalist design, low energy consumption and yet more than sufficient light. The parking garage has recently been delivered and Wila has taken its new parking garage into use.
