Challenge

Since 2018, Brouwers Transport has a logistics center of 12,000 m2 on the Rietveldenkade in Den Bosch. DATALUX line lighting is used to full satisfaction. Brouwers is growing fast, so contractor Unibouw and Hendriks Installatie have built a second warehouse, the same size as the existing building. It concerns a warehouse with eleven loading and unloading docks, two ground level doors and several other offices.

Solution

Together with Hendriks Installatie Techniek BV from Gemert, LUMINAID once again provided the complete lighting in the warehouse. The DATALUX system provides a unique light experience for the employees in the reach trucks and the loading and unloading areas. Naturally, smart motion sensors and the unique DCEM30DX emergency lighting system are used.

DC Braak warehouse

Challenge

At the beginning of 2020, warehouse facility DC Braak was completed at the Borchwerf I business park in Roosendaal. This modern and high-quality logistics distribution center was designed by Stripes architects and developed by Intervest. Builder Bolckmans realized this building with a total area of approximately 28,600 m². The DC has been developed with the ambition of Breeam Outstanding and provides, among other things, solar panels, LED lighting and motion sensors.

Solution

High-quality installer Van Dijnsen took care of all electrical engineering. One of the challenges was a uniquely uniform lighting experience at the highest sustainability standards. The choice for DATALUX was then quickly made. The entire distribution center is equipped with DATALUX line lighting, with integrated emergency lighting and cleverly programmed PIR tronics.

Sanitairkamer Hardewijk

Challenge

Sanitair Kamer in Hardewijk is supplier of high-quality sanitary articles and tiling. For a better design of their business processes, a new industrial hall of 3,000 m2 has been realized in the town of Hardewijk. Botec Bedrijfsruimtebouw was responsible for the realization, Brian Franken Technieken was responsible for the electrical installations. A linear lighting system where a safe and pleasant working environment was created was one of the most important requirements.

Solution

The choice for DATALUX was made quickly. Because of long continuous light without any glare and good color recognition, Brian Franken Technieken has chosen DATALUX linear lighting. Sanitair Kamer also has an extremely durable lighting system, both in terms of service life and due to the very low energy consumption.

TSN new distribution center

Challenge

TSN Group in Houten is a fast-growing logistics service provider in Houten. With their own warehouses, they provide webshop logistics, service logistics, warehousing and self storage. To fulfill the growth ambitions, they have realized a new distribution center in Houten together with F5 projects. Together with Van Weerdenburg Electrical Engineering, an integration of various technologies such as light, data and presence detection was sought.

Solution

With the DATALUX.IQ system, an integrated lighting system has been realized in which WiFi and presence detection are integrated in the light lines. There is also a unique and comfortable light image with a long service life.

Cheese Storage De Producten

Challenge

“De Producent” is a cooperative that was originally established for the export of full-fat Gouda Cheese under the Rijksmerk. The association was created to enable cheese-producing farmers to compete against large traders. Because of this the farmers know a purchase guarantee and a fixed compensation for the cheeses. More than a hundred years later, De Producent still guarantees the purchase and responsible purchasing of the cheese produced by its farmers. Due to the growth of the sales market at home and abroad, De Producent has grown into a modern and flexible company and has become one of the larger “Boerenkaas” and “Kaas van de Boerderij” suppliers in Europe. To facilitate this growth, a new warehouse in Moordrecht, The Netherlands, has been put into use, ready to store more than 2.6 million kilograms of cheese. With this storage, a high-quality light level with which the quality of the product can be assessed properly can be crucial. Lighting specialist ETK Lighting has been commissioned for the realization of the best suitable lighting.

Solution

In addition to a good light level, it was important that the lighting to be used met the stringent requirements that apply to the storage of fresh foodstuffs such as cheese. Warehouse Motorcycle Storehouse

CHALLENGE

Motorcycle Storehouse BV offers the largest selection of leading brands in aftermarket parts for Harley-Davidson motorcycles. All parts are supplied from their central newly build warehouse. Having 70,000 parts means the best working environment for the staff working on the shopfloor. Leijdsman Installatie was asked to provide the best lighting system.

Warehouse Boon Sliedrecht

CHALLENGE
The core activities of Boon Sliedrecht B.V. consist of distribution of food to (franchise) customers and the operation of MCD Supermarkets and Boon’s Markets. These are full-service supermarkets with service and freshly high priority. Boon Sliedrecht B.V. is a family business that has existed for nearly 130 years. A few years ago, Boon opened a logistics center in Ridderkerk from which all cool and frozen products are delivered. These warehouse facilities where previously fragmented over two locations, Zwijndrecht and Barendrecht. In order to continue the growth, it was necessary search for a new building. A prerequisite for this was to be able to bundle all the wholesale activities in one logistics center in order to achieve synergy benefits for the company. The choice fell on DC Delta on the Dordtse Kil III.

SOLUTION
Our partner ETK Lighting has designed an optimal lighting plan that achieves the highest light level between the various racks in the cooling and freezing locations. The DATALUX.LT light line system was chosen for this. LUMINAID was responsible for the production, delivery and assembly of the DATALUX light line system

Kramp Varsseveld warehouse

CHALLENGE
Kramp’s new premises, a supplier of technical materials for agriculture, road and hydraulic engineering, among other things, will ensure that Kramp’s delivery capacity will be expanded to support business growth for many years to come. Use is made of a high-quality logistics shuttle system from Knapp AG. This system with 134,000 bin locations with a maximum of four locations per bin ensures compact storage of many items on relatively few square meters. Previously, Kramp had a rather labor-intensive concept with separate bulk and pick locations. Now the warehouse is quite full with a complex sorting installation. Together with installer Kremer, it turned out to be a challenge to provide sufficient light between the Knapp equipment.

SOLUTION

Together with our partner Kremer Installatietechniek BV in ‘s-Heerenberg an optimal light plan has been designed that achieves the highest light level between the high racks and equipment of Knapp. The choice quickly falls on the DATALUX.LT continuous line system. This system is placed between the rafters and the roof construction. This makes it possible to create a good light image while the user maintains maximum space up to the rafters. LUMINAID provided the engineering, production and delivery of the DATALUX light line system for Kremer. She installed and installed the light lines.

Warehouse Dillewijn Zwapak

CHALLENGE
The new building of Dillewijn Zwapak in Aalsmeer concerns a state-of the art warehouse. After the merger between Dillewijn and Zwapak, a major impact was made in the field of efficiency by building a central distribution center. The other buildings turned out to be outdated, so that Dillewijn Zwapak opted for a completely new location in Aalsmeer. And of course with the latest technologies.

SOLUTION
Together with our partner Elektroservice Holland BV in Hardinxveld-Giessendam, an optimal lighting plan has been developed that achieves the highest light level, at the lowest possible operational costs and environmental impact. The choice quickly falls on the DATALUX.LT continuous line system. This system is placed between the rafters and the roof construction. This makes it possible to create a good light image while the user keeps Dillewijn maximum space up to the rafters. LUMINAID not only provided for the engineering and delivery, but also realized the assembly of the light lines in close cooperation with Elektroservice Holland.

DC Brouwers Logistics

CHALLENGE
Brouwers Logistics has realized its new central distribution center in ‘s-Hertogenbosch. The distribution center is adjacent to the A59 and is located near the BCTN Bossche Container Terminal, making it easily accessible by road and water. Brouwers new DC has narrow positions where it is necessary to work in height. A high light level on the horizontal work surface (floor) as well as in the racks up to a height of more than 10 meters was required.

SOLUTION
An integral lighting plan based on the DATALUX.LT continuous line system. By using DATALUX.LT luminaires equipped with the narrow beam lens technology developed by LUMINAID in-house, a clear light image is created on both the floor and the entire vertical plane of the racks.

Delicia Chocolates

CZ Cheese Manufacturing

CHALLENGE
CZ Rouveen is a renowed cheese maker in The Netherlands. A replacement of existing single IP65 luminaires by LED lines was required,  meeting standards related to water resistance and HACCP i.v. cheese storage. The sides of the rack must be well lit.

SOLUTION
The DATALUX system is standard IP65 therefore ideally suited in this demanding environment. By applying the new Wide-Beam lens icm with a lumen package of 8000lm. Due to the wide light emission, the lines could be placed relatively far apart. In case of voltage drop the whole line switches over as an emergency lighting fixture. The line is fed in emergency situation from a central battery pack (at the beginning of the line) with an autonomy of 1 hour.

DC Van Dijk wholesales

CHALLENGE
Lighting in the 1st energy-neutral Distribution Center of the North-East Netherlands consisting of an Expedition room and 8 racking paths of 35m.

SOLUTION
In the expedition wide-beam luminaires of 8000 lumens and 3500 lumens luminescent luminaires in the positioning paths. Due to the continuously continuous light line, there is no glare and the vertical uniformity of illumination on the product, especially at the top of the shelf, is optimal. The energy absorbed in the rack paths is only 8W per meter.
